Year 6 children were lucky enough to have a visit from a company called Soundwave who tour local schools with a view to advertising and encouraging involvement with music be it through writing lyrics, singing or even performing the background percussion.

U-Dance 2023

Year 6 were absolutely fantastic in the U-Dance festival! They were so confident on stage and they all committed fully to their performance. They deserve to be really proud of themselves for the courage they showed and I know they have loved the experience. Well done everybody!

World Book Day 2023

There were some well-known story characters among the class today as Year 6 dressed in costume for World Book Day!

Play In A Day

Year 6 participated in "Play In A Day." Led by a professional theatre company, the whole class learned a performance of Macbeth in a single day! They then performed this play for the school and Year 6 families. The class really enjoyed this experience!

CADAS Workshop

CADAS came to Year 6 to deliver a workshop about making healthy choices. We discussed a variety of social situations, considering the choices we would make and the
consequences of these choices. It was highly informative!

Bikeability

This week, Year 6 have completed their lvl 1 and lvl 2 Bikeability award. Although it has been a little cold and wet at times, the weather did not dampen their spirits and the children have developed their ability to cycle safely when out on the road.
