Catch-up Premium

We have employed a part-time, experienced, teacher to work with targeted groups in Years 2, 3 and 4.  We are focussing on Literacy skills, the work is differentiated and individualised.  The groups are very small as EEF research has shown this maximises impact and accelerates outcomes which will enable the children to catch up.

 

The older children in Years 4, 5 and 6 that require extra tuition have either small group of 2:1 tuition after school.  Again the EEF research has formed the basis for our organisation of the tuition.

 

Staff are responsible for the planning, tracking and sharing the impact of the educational attainment of these pupils. The results will be collated, monitored and the impact of the tuition will be evaluated.
