Our baby ladybirds arrived in Reception class today.
"Our baby ladybirds arrived today. They are called larva. They came out of eggs. Next they will change into a pupa before emerging as a tiny ladybird. At the moment they are eating the stuff that looks like sand. The paper is there to give them a nice place to hide. When they are lady birds we will need to give them greenfly to eat. So if any one finds gaphids (green or black fly)on the plants in their garden please bring the leaves with them on to school for our pet ladybirds to eat."
